I am very disappointed as this is not the amount of even one Amazon sale.  I am sure I had a few sales as I drove some traffic to my Amazon leafs.  But at this point, they were still putting all of the sales in one pot and then dispersing them to those in certain “tiers”.  Basically, others got the money for any sales I made.  I am not pleased.  So much for having a crush on Zujava.

From here on out we are supposed to see our own sales and get paid for our own sales.  If this really happens, I may feel a little better about Zujava again.  But with this payout, I am not happy.  We will have to see what next month brings.  Also, I am going to start using my own affiliate links on everything.  This way I am sure about what is going on and what is being sold.

Would I still recommend Zujava? At this point, yes.  But now more for backlinks toward more lucrative sites than anything else.

The average amount of time that it takes an Amazon sale to show up on your Squidoo dashboard is 2 days.  The day the sale is made…skip the next day…and then the next day the sale should show up.  Now, this may not be an exact science every single time thanks to things that can’t be controlled by you…such as Squidoo problems or Amazon problems or holidays.  But it is a general rule that I think should ease your mind a little.

If you are writing on Squidoo…don’t forget to write on the newest site like Squidoo.  It is great for new projects and backlinks to your lenses!  Find it here.

Not only did they have their network sites de-indexed, but many former users of these networks are reporting that their sites have dipped far in search rank.

This is why I am no longer waiting on BMR or any other blogging network. Why take chances? For some very useful information on the whole de-indexing, visit this post (from Pot Pie Girl).

If you still believe in the use of these networks, maybe you should take a break for a while. Allow everything to simmer down. But, ultimately, as with anything, you should read everything you can on the subject and decide for yourself.

Let me just say, so far I LOVE IT! The biggest search engine seems to love it, too. I am ranking on page one for two test articles and page two for another. Without any other links or work. I added 2 very basic links (took all of 5 minutes) and the one on page 2 is now #7 on page one. And they were indexed and visible on their own in 24 hours. You gotta love this.

Now, I love Squidoo. I find it fun. And I will take fun in any form I can get it. But this seems to be doing a bit better. At least so far. Why not try it? It is do follow. It has responsive admin. It is a fun and easy-on-the-eyes site that is easy to navigate. There is a link above or right over here ===============>

I am 100% on board with Zujava so far. I like it. Let’s see what kind of power it has to push my other sites up with it’s links….

There will be more reviews on Zujava as I go along. I don’t want to fall in love too soon. But so far I have a HUGE crush. Have you tried it? Let’s hear what you think!

I had heard that the people over at Wizzley had put together a site similar to Squidoo. Imagine my disappointment when the site did not look fun at all. Very drab. Nothing upbeat.

So, I submitted an article. This article was a test article to see how appealing the process would be. It had one link to a website without affiliate products. The article offered tips for saving money on a type of customized product. You are required to put together a 400 word article. No problem, I do this almost daily at a quality site EzineArticles.

I felt negative the entire time I spent putting the article together. I just didn’t like the way the site felt. Maybe that is why….my article was rejected! I was shocked as I put a lot of info in the article, with one link. The same type of article, though thoroughly re-written that has been published in an industry magazine. I guess karma got me. I didn’t like the site. I was feeling negative while writing. Or maybe the giant squids got a little too giant. Who knows?

Either way. I submitted the article to EZA and had it approved. And they don’t approve just anything. So, in the end I ended up with a higher-quality link.

This just goes to show that in your efforts to make your way and make some money online, you need to find the sites to work with that suit your style. Have fun. There is always another option.

I much prefer Zujava for a Squidoo-like experience. It is fun and has a positive feel about it from the moment you enter the site. But you need to make your own decisions. Maybe you will love Wizzley. If you want to give it a try, it may be a good fit for you.

I happen to find Squidoo fun, friendly, and easy to use. The community there can not be beat. And what can possibly be negative about a site that let’s you write about just about anything (with very few exceptions) and make money while doing it? I love it. I love it as a money maker and also as a source for backlinks.

There is a new website that is very similar in layout to Squidoo. I have tried it and it is very easy to navigate and post your articles. It allows for Adsense share and monetization via Amazon and more. The layout is very clean and it just looks great! It is new, so we will see how it progresses. But it looks professionally done and the owners of the site are very responsive. Give it a try here!

The Squidoo Shortcut to Money was advertised to me as not for beginners. Well, after reading it…I discovered it is ONLY for beginners. Nothing new for me here. Granted, I have been successful with Squidoo for a while now. But this offered nothing new for those who have been doing this for a while. Or for those who have ever read anything else. I was hoping for a new place or two to backlink. Maybe some new ways to rank….I came up empty-handed.

If you are a beginner and have few lenses that you want to make some money from, it MAY be helpful. This is not for those who know how and where to go to rank your lenses. You will more than likely know more than is offered here. And if you like like to keep Facebook out of your affiliate marketing life, this is not for you.

However, if you have the lenses and want to know the basics of where to go for links, check it out.

I have heard only great things about another, established, and similar program. Build My Rank is supposed to be great for increasing rank as long as you put the work in. I am not afraid of a little work…so I went on over. Sadly, they have a waiting list. But I am on the list and as soon as I can, I am going to get in on it and I will report back here. I hope this one works. It is certainly more affordable!

I wonder how many products that are put out to “help” us are just one of product after product put out by people to make money from us. Are they actually “doing” internet marketing or just making products to sell to internet marketers? I guess it is a form of marketing….but I want to learn from those who are successfully doing what I am doing.

******UPDATE***** I am no longer waiting on BMR as the Blog Networks out there got majorly slapped by Google. I would not recommend using any of them. Build your links naturally. Stay consistent. And stay away from these to protect your sites.*******UPDATE******

Although I have been trying my hand at affiliate marketing for nearly two years now, I still consider myself a beginner.  I do actually make money from a few different places now.  Maybe not the $500 – $1000 a day that many claim to make.  But I do make some decent money.  Enough to make a difference in my own household.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced affiliate marketer, you know that a big part of your strategy for ranking your keywords is to create backlinks.  Lots of them.

In my own quest to do so, I contemplated trying one-way links several times.  Being a beginner who had been overloaded with people trying to sell me this and that….I was hesitant.  But, the price was right and I decided to give it a go.

I signed up and created my articles complete with my desired backlinks.  I then allotted my desired amount of links to each one.   Within days I noticed a jump in my search engine rankings.  Yes, it did work for me.  I noticed a jump of 2-4 places for each.  Now, my chosen allotment was 50-100 each (I wanted to help a few different keywords/sites)…so if you choose more, you may have even better results.  The jump in rank was good for me.  But I rank on page one generally anyway.  I am not afraid to put in the work on my own.

The only problem I encountered was that some topics were taboo (not a big deal) and that if I wanted to add additional blogs to the network (this is a way to earn more insertions/backlinks), then I would have to host with another hosting company for each one.  This does not work for me.  I found it annoying.   When I asked the help desk about getting around this, I was told it was the only way.

So, if you have a few keywords/sites that you want to help, it may be worth it for you.  If you host with more than one company…it is definitely worth it for you.  If you are on the fence and want some good backlinks…give it a try.

Anyway, you just have to see this.  It is so amazing.  This 16-year-old girl makes a ton of money with affiliate marketing.   She will show you the proof…Teenagers Make Money!

Anyway, I could go on and on about this girl, but you have to see this.  And if you have a teenager or a college student or even a pre-teen, this may be the incentive to get them started with making money online.  Anyone can do it.  Imagine giving your kids the gift of future financial freedom.  They can start affiliate marketing now with this girl’s system and be set through high school, college and the rest of their life.  What a great gift.   Check her out HERE.
